If you are experiencing issues installing your game, please confirm the following:
- Your system meets the minimum requirements listed on the store page
- Your antivirus software is not blocking the installer
- The installation files were downloaded completely
If the issue continues, please reply to this message with a screenshot of the error message so we can assist you further.
JAST Blue Support
After purchasing a JAST Blue title, you will receive a download link and product key.
To activate your game:
- Download the installer from the link provided in your order confirmation email.
- Run the installer on your computer.
- When prompted, enter the product key exactly as shown in your purchase receipt.
- Complete the installation process.
If your key does not work or you cannot locate your purchase email, please contact support with your order number and we will assist you.
Lamento — Won't Open or Crashes on Startup (PC)
Fixes for permission errors, antivirus blocks, compatibility issues, and missing software.
If Lamento won't open or closes right after you start it, it's usually caused by permissions, antivirus settings, or your computer not recognizing the game properly. Try the steps below.
- Right-click the game icon
- Click "Run as administrator"
- Try opening the game again
- Open your antivirus or Windows Security
- Look for any blocked or removed game files
- If you find any, allow them and restore the files
- Add the game folder to your allowed/exceptions list
- Right-click the game file → click Properties
- Click the Compatibility tab
- Check "Run this program in compatibility mode"
- Choose Windows 7 or Windows 8
- Click Apply, then try opening the game
- Make sure your computer has the latest DirectX installed
- Install or update Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
If the game still won't open, contact support and include the following so we can identify the issue more quickly:
- Click the Start menu → Settings → System → About
- Share your Windows version, Processor (CPU), and Installed RAM
- Take a screenshot or write down exactly what the error says
- For example: "The game crashes right after I click Play"
